Import and export shooting data
Share data between two computers
The license for the full version of E-Sniper allows you to simultaneously use the program on two different computers. The idea is to use one as a central database and the other as a portable computer that can be used to practice target shooting outdoors.
To exchange database data files SQL Server LocalDB are used, so you need have this software installed on both computers. This allows you to work offline with all the parameters that you defined in the central data base.
If you are not using a database server, you can share the data file with all the parameters, filters, shooting cards, targets and shots between two computers, passing from one to another with the options provided by the program.
Shooting practice with laptop
Once you have printed the targets that you want to use in the laptop computer, there is the option to export them along with shooting parameters, filters and shooting cards. You can use a pen-drive to save the copy of the database and load it on the laptop later.
Then you can use the program normally, selecting the database connection to local files. Subsequently, you will use the data import options to pass back the new shooting data to the central database. The changes you has made in the parameters and filters are also imported from the laptop.
